- Duties and responsibilities
- The ICT Officer II (Systems Analyst) will be responsible for the following:
- Participating in systems analysis, business process analysis and requirements gathering for information systems.
- Preparing system specifications, technical documentation and user manuals.
- Participating in system testing, implementation, maintenance and the continuous improvement of information systems.
- Providing technical support to users and participating in user training and awareness programmes.
- Participating in business process re-engineering and digital transformation initiatives.
- Participating in data analysis, system integration and quality assurance activities.
- Monitoring system performance and recommending appropriate improvements.
- Performing any other official duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications
The applicant must hold a bachelor’s degree in one of the following fields:
Computer Science
Information Systems
Information Technology
Software Engineering
Computer Engineering
Business Information Systems
An equivalent qualification from a recognized higher learning institution
