Job Purpose
- To supervise the workshop, ensure trucks are properly maintained and repaired on time, and reduce unnecessary breakdowns, costs and repeat repairs.
- Employment Type:

Responsibilities
- Plan and supervise daily workshop activities.
- Ensure preventive maintenance is carried out on time.
- Monitor breakdowns, repairs and job cards from opening to completion.
- Ensure mechanics have the required tools, parts and information to complete jobs.
- Check the quality of repairs before trucks are released.
- Maintain proper records of repairs, spare parts and vehicle history.
- Monitor repeat repairs and identify the root cause of problems.
- Coordinate with Transport and Tracking teams to minimise vehicle downtime.
- Prepare simple daily and weekly workshop reports.
- Suggest ways to improve workshop efficiency and reduce maintenance costs.
- Ensure workshop safety and proper housekeeping.
