Rafiki Retreat is seeking an experienced and dynamic Lodge General Manager to oversee all administrative and operational aspects of the lodge. Responsibilities
- The Lodge General Manager will be responsible for:
- Overseeing all administrative and operational activities at the lodge.
- Developing and implementing marketing strategies to enhance the lodge’s visibility and attract new clients.
- Leading, managing, and motivating the on-site team.
- Planning and allocating work according to employees’ strengths and capabilities.
- Preparing and managing budgets to ensure cost-effective operations while maintaining high service standards.
- Identifying and implementing initiatives to improve operational efficiency and the lodge’s overall performance.
- Driving business growth by increasing client acquisition and strengthening the lodge’s market presence.
- Preparing regular reports on financial performance and operational activities for the lodge owner, ideally every week.
- Introducing and promoting environmentally friendly initiatives that align with the lodge’s mission and vision for sustainable tourism.
- Maintaining excellent customer service standards.

Requirements
