Responsibilities

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for:
  • Monitoring, researching, and analyzing major economic issues and developments in Tanzania and East Africa, including areas such as trade, investment, energy, natural resources, minerals, and other related economic matters.
  • Supporting the preparation of analytical reports, policy briefs, briefing notes, and presentations.
  • Monitoring economy-related laws, regulations, government policies, and administrative measures in Tanzania and the wider East African region.

Requirements

  • Hold a master’s degree or higher in a field relevant to economic security.
  • Hold a bachelor’s degree in a field relevant to economic security, with at least five years of relevant professional experience.
  • Applicants must also be legally eligible to work in Tanzania.
