This role is critical in ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and continuous improvement of electrical and automation systems within the bottling and production plant. The technician plays a key role in minimizing downtime, optimizing machine performance, and supporting safe and efficient production processes. This position is ideal for technically strong professionals with expertise in electrical systems, industrial automation, and manufacturing maintenance environments. The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting automation systems, maintaining equipment reliability, and ensuring compliance with engineering and safety standards in a fast-paced FMCG production environment. Responsibilities: Troubleshoot and repair electrical and automation systems within the production plant. Diagnose faults in automated machinery, control systems, and production lines. Ensure continuous availability and optimal performance of production equipment. Improve engineering response times to reduce machine downtime and production losses. Support loss elimination initiatives across bottling and packaging lines. Conduct regular condition monitoring activities (daily, weekly, monthly). Ensure preventive maintenance schedules are strictly followed and completed. Maintain high standards of machine reliability and operational performance. Ensure all contractors comply with plant safety and operational requirements. Verify functionality of machine guards, safety devices, and emergency systems. Ensure safety switches, sensors, and indicators are fully operational. Promote strict adherence to electrical safety standards and procedures. Ensure electrical panels are properly labeled, clean, dry, and securely closed. Verify correct rating of breakers, fuses, contactors, and relays. Ensure proper functioning of panel cooling systems and filters. Maintain integrity and condition of power and control cables. Ensure proper termination, securing, and organization of electrical connections. Verify correct identification and labeling of cables and equipment. Ensure all electric motors are correctly labeled and matched with technical documentation. Maintain a detailed motor register, including maintenance history and fault records.
