This position provides a recent graduate with direct experience in financial management for a large-scale, government-led education project in Tanzania. Key Responsibilities: Cash & Bank Management: Prepare bank reconciliation statements, manage petty cash, and record transactions into bank/cash books. Disbursements & Audit: Prepare payment vouchers, settle undisputed invoices, manage per diems, and ensure all documents meet audit standards. Tax & Compliance: Ensure adherence to tax regulations, particularly withholding tax provisions. Reporting: Maintain up-to-date financial records for regular submission to the UK head office. Candidate Requirements: Nationality: Tanzanian national. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (Minimum Upper-Second Class). Experience: 2–3 years of work experience in finance/accounting. Skills: Excellent English communication, proactive problem-solving, timekeeping, and a keen interest in supporting educational development .
